This was designed to solve a problem a lot of people have with how low their current link mounts are on the frame. This raises up the link mount so he bottom of the joint is just above the frame and is built to holder a standard 2.625" wide joint with a 9/16" bolt. It is offset enough that you can get a nut on the back instead of welding the nut on the back so it is serviceable and you don't have a huge project if the nut strips some day.
